Dear Listeners,
Today’s episode is a big one. Conservative Catholic podcaster and YouTuber Matt Fradd just announced that Pints with Aquinas is moving to radical far-right media network The Daily Wire — and people aren’t prepared for the consequences.
In this episode, we’re breaking down how a major Catholic influencer is slotting himself straight into a conservative media machine that profits off outrage, polarization, and funneling young men toward radicalization disguised as “tradition.”
More than a platform shift
When a popular Catholic personality links arms with a political operation like The Daily Wire, it accelerates the Catholic manoverse pipeline we’ve been discussing and deepens the echo chambers already forming around men’s rights rhetoric cosplaying as theology.
We’re talking about a whole generation of vulnerable young men being steered toward a community that thrives by offering belonging, certainty, and heroic identity while reinforcing misogyny, anti-lgbtq extremism, and authoritarianism.

💬 Let’s talk about it
We want to hear your thoughts — especially from folks who’ve watched this shift happen in real time. Have you seen friends or family get pulled into this space? What do you think The Daily Wire gains from platforming Catholic voices? Drop your comments on the episode page.
🗣️ Why We’re covering this
Young men are getting squeezed from both sides: cultural narratives that shame any softness, and religious narratives that enforce hypermasculinity. When those two forces merge, they create communities built on fear, contempt, and nostalgia for imaginary “olden days” where power flowed one direction.
And when influential Catholic creators jump into right-wing political networks, it only turns up the volume for thousands of young people who follow them online.
We’ll likely touch on this again as this story develops, but do expect our typical programming that covers LGBTQ Catholic history, queer liberation theology, Catholic masculinity, and high control Catholicism.
Until then,
Max & Emma
